Capotille, Haiti: Planting Seeds of Hope

We’re excited to share encouraging news from Capotille, Haiti, where Leonel Riviere continues to labor faithfully. Leonel has been diligently cultivating relationships in this community, and his efforts have recently borne fruit in the formation of a growing assembly of 18 individuals. This group was formed through the merging of two smaller groups that Leonel had been nurturing separately.

While we rejoice in this growth, we also recognize that the most important work is still to come: the transformation of hearts through the power of the Gospel. Though no one has yet made a profession of faith, we are encouraged by the group’s openness and receptivity to Leonel and the teaching. They eagerly gather to hear the Word of God, and Leonel has been able to minister to their physical needs as well, providing food packages to several individuals through the generous support of our partners.

This holistic approach, combining spiritual nourishment with practical assistance, reflects our commitment to demonstrating the love of Christ in word and in deed.

We invite you to join us in praying for this burgeoning group in Capotille. Pray that their hearts would be opened to the truth of the Gospel, just as the Lord opened the heart of Lydia in Acts 16:14:

“A God-fearing woman named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth from the city of Thyatira, was listening. The Lord opened her heart to respond to what Paul was saying.”

We believe in the power of God in the Gospel for salvation, and we are expectant to see Him draw these precious souls to Himself. Thank you for partnering with us in prayer and support as we continue to advance the Gospel in Haiti and beyond.
