Dear mission partners, friends, and brothers and sisters. Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Summer has now arrived. and with the Summer comes the visits from our short term missionary friends. The first team that came was a special group. The team was from First Baptist of Fall Branch Tennessee and was lead by Pastor Shawn Cutshall. This was this church’s first international mission trip. It was a pleasure to watch and serve with these brothers and sisters. It reminded me of my first mission trip years ago, and it was Pastor Shawn who lead that trip also when he was the Pastor of our sending church. They came and did a great job ministering  and meeting needs of the people here. There are many needs here, but their greatest need is Christ.
The second group came with our good friend Darryl Whittington of Honoring The Father Ministries. This is the same ministry who came and built the church for us in Boruco. This time they came with a team and added a bathroom and septic tank to the church. They did a lot of electrical work as well and left it set up to receive power from the city. Â With that team came Pastor Dave Lambert and three ladies from their church of Bible Baptist in Ocala. Pastor Dave preached three great messages while he was here and the ladies did a great job ministering to the children in Boruco while the men worked on the bathroom and electric wiring.
We also had a visit from some friends of ours at New Hope in North Carolina. Three came and stayed with us in our home. But even with this small group we accomplished some great things. They came prepared to share with the kids in the baseball program and had gifts for each one of them. Through them and the last group we were able to put fans in the new building in Boruco. They also have left many school supplies for children.
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.- Philippians 4:19 ESV
It is amazing to see God  provide the things needed for the church here through different  people from different churches. Food, Bibles, a bathroom and fans  in the church. It is amazing to see God move people from different  places to come here and supply many needs. We praise God for this. But it is even more amazing to see God answer specific prayer. We recently have been focusing our outreach on young men. That is what we seem to have the least of in the church. God seems to be answering those prayers and we have been meeting several different young men who are willing to allow  us the time to sit down with them and do a Bible study. We pray that The Lord will use this to bring more men to the churches here, and in time, new future leaders. We have tweaked a few of our focuses, but the plan is still the same. Preach the Gospel, make disciples who make disciples, and edify the church. Pray.
If you are already giving to this ministry, we are very thankful for your prayers and support, and for your obedience and love for the Lord, thank you. If you are not a mission partner, we ask that you prayerfully consider giving to this ministry.
Those who pray for and give to missions play just as an important role as those on the mission field.
